Everything's Peachy. Pun Intended.

The leaves had a wonderful frolic
They danced to the wind's loud song
They whirled, and they floated, and scampered
They circled and flew along

I am facing the monumental predicament of not knowing what to blog about. But the problem with me is that I'm such a sucker for conversations. Whether it's with someone I am completely comfortable with or just plain conversing with my blog readers, I can go on and on about the most mundane things.

I'm more than a little irked with my camera lately. It's been taking pretty grainy photos. And I look sickly in all of them. Of course I shouldn't be blaming my camera if I don't take great photos. But still. It's  close to that time of the month when I'm a little hormonal and I always end up blaming something or someone for even the most trifling problems. T__T.

Since I haven't been feeling, not to mention looking, spectacular lately, I wanted to don something purdy. I thought it's about time I wear this peachy cardigan with its rose and floral details. It has been sitting in my closet for quite some time now.

Since most of my photos are a bit grainy, I decided to emphasize the grain by adding a bit of noise. It turned out quite well, methinks. :)

I wore a lot of flowers the day these photos were taken. My post-valentine post. hurhur.

I'm forced to listen to my brother's friends' videoke-ing(yes I'm inventing this word) as I write this. And seriously, nobody can think with all the noise so I might as well end this completely useless post. haha.

PS: From neck to feet, everything is thrifted (except for the accessories). Yes, I'm the queen of thrift now. Kill me.

Latest Haul

Granny haul! My latest thrift finds. I really went crazy picking stuff here and there. I got everything for no more than $10. Everything! Including the scarves and the wallet.

I'm probably going to catch the last day of thrift sale next week and find more stuff for my spring/summer wardrobe. :))

All Warm And Fuzzy Inside

The many faces of me. haha! Actually I'm poker-faced sometimes. But I'm trying to work on it. We camwhored a bit while waiting for our dinner. Starved after an afternoon of Christmas shopping.

I'm so excited to wear them. While buying Myk was busy sorting through the bonnets on a rack, my sight suddenly zeroed in on this uber inexpensive beanie! I have been looking for one here since time immemorial and I had to resort to buying online. There is much to be desired about the shopping experience here in my small town. You clearly have to visit every thrift and department store to find the things you want.

Thrift Shopping Is A Vice

I was out thrifting yesterday. Yes. On a Monday afternoon. I was restless the whole day and all I wanted was to work off the restlessness by thrift shopping. And I just remembered the vintage blue vest I saw (but didn't buy) and I wanted to go back and buy it. Unfortunately, someone else bought it first.

But I wasn't too disappointed because yesterday's haul was more than a bargain. I was able to find the cropped slouchy granny-like top featured in the photo, a white cropped sando blouse and utilitarian like navy-blue vest which, according to my sister, looks good with the flats she saw in another thrift shop. Naturally I had to cave in. Again. Me and my monumental lack of self-discipline.

I wasn't able to take photos of the other stuff I bought. I had a pile of work-related things to do today so I didn't get a chance to take photos until a few minutes ago when the sun has already graced the other side of the Earth. As it turned out, I managed to make a mess of my bedroom. I have to clean up the clutter later.

After scouring thift stores yesterday, I went to the grocery. I found Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar! The other grocery I went to last Friday didn't have Bragg brand of ACV. I have started my detox regimen today. As a result of the numerous reviews I have read about the miraculous health benefits of Bragg ACV regimen, I was actually expecting it to stink when I first opened the bottle. But to my surprise, it actually smells like sukang iloko. If you are a true blue ilocana like me, you wouldn't even bat an eyelash about the smell. When I was younger, I used to drink left-over sukang iloko like a drunkard in a tavern. I will drink it until my lips turn white and someone will scold me and stop me from further damaging my esophagus!

I have yet to see the results people are raving about. But hey, this is just my first day of ACV regimen. Hopefully it will work. I need the extra energy and the detox and the extra calcium.

So yeah, that's about it for today. Catch you later! Comments and messages are welcome. /spewing hearts to all <3 <3 <3
